Melissya works with Eurasia Group's Southeast Asia team on analysis of the region, primarily focused on Indonesia and Malaysia.
 
Prior to joining Eurasia Group, Melissya worked five years for a public affairs consultancy in Jakarta. She also worked for a leading Southeast Asia-focused government affairs firm where she helped clients to navigate the complex bureaucracy in Indonesia and to understand political risks and policy developments, particularly in the energy and natural resources, technology, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors. She also has experience in policy advocacy and building clients' strategic partnerships with the government, civil society, and business associations.
 
Melissya holds a master's degree in public policy from King's College London and a bachelor's degree in international relations from the University of Indonesia.
