As chief treasury officer, Rachel oversees all of Eurasia Group's financial operations, ranging from daily accounting transactions to tax, audit, and banking relationships. With over 17 years of experience in accounting and corporate finance, Rachel monitors the financial health of the firm and keeps management aware of any business risks.

Born and raised in Beijing, China, Rachel completed her undergraduate degree at Renmin University and later obtained a master of business administration from the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia. Rachel started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has held multiple finance roles including that of director of controlling at Lacoste USA. Having spent half of her life in Asia and the other half in the US, Rachel enjoys analyzing politics from both cultural viewpoints and sharing with her Eurasia Group colleagues. In her free time, Rachel likes to travel in Italy with her husband.
