Matias frequently represents Eurasia Group with commentary in international and Mexican media, including Bloomberg, the Financial Times, Reforma, El Universal, Milenio, La Hora de Opinar, and Nexos. He holds a bachelor's degree in international Relations from El Colegio de Mexico and a master's degree in public policy from the London School of Economics.
