Dominic Chiu covers China at Eurasia Group with a focus on domestic politics, US-China relations, and Hong Kong. Dominic was previously a senior associate at Albright Stonebridge Group where he helped businesses navigate issues in the Greater China market. Prior to that, Dominic was a management consultant at Kaiser Associates providing market opportunity analysis and competitive benchmarking services to corporate clients.

Dominic has worked at the Brookings Institution, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and the US-China Business Council. He has also held China-focused research positions at the World Bank and the Economist Intelligence Unit. Dominic holds a master's degree in international economics and relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a bachelor's degree in economics and philosophy from the University of Chicago.  

Dominic is a native speaker of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. He is conversational in French. When not working, Dominic can be found attending concerts, studying traditional Chinese medicine, and hiking when the weather permits.
