Christine Hilt is a senior analyst with Eurasia Group's Geostrategy practice, developing thematic research and bespoke consulting projects for multinational corporate and financial clients that examine geopolitical risk and its implications through a cross-cutting macro lens.
Prior to joining Eurasia Group, Christine worked in various roles at the US Department of State after joining the agency as a 2017 Presidential Management Fellow. Most of her time at the department was as a regional political officer and desk officer in the South Central Europe office in the European and Eurasian Affairs Bureau, focused primarily on the Western Balkans; she also served abroad as a political officer in the bilateral embassy in Vienna, Austria. Before serving in government, she worked at Deloitte and Booz Allen Hamilton as a strategy consultant. Her clients were primarily US federal government, with a focus on crucial national security matters including technology, immigration, and foreign and defense policy.
Christine holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in international affairs from American University in Washington, DC, where she specialized in global governance, democratic resilience, and European security issues. Christine loves to bake, plays tennis and volleyball whenever she can, and can be found watching European football and Formula 1 on most weekends.
