Anbinh Phan leads Eurasia Group's Consumer and Retail practice, where she oversees a team that delivers industry-specific research on emerging issues and regulations. Her team's areas of focus are supply chains and trade, global sourcing, market analysis, regulatory shifts, reputation and branding, human rights, global food policy, workforce management – including labor and immigration, sustainability, license to operate, corporate social responsibility, and corporate stakeholder engagement.
Before joining Eurasia Group, Anbinh was a director on Walmart's Global Government Affairs team, collaborating with government leaders, civil society groups, and industry associations to address corporate trade, global sourcing, labor, and supply chain issues. Her experience also includes roles as an economist at the US Department of the Treasury, a fellow at Human Rights First, and a small business owner.
Anbinh holds a juris doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, a master of public affairs from Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs, and a bachelor's degree in philosophy, politics, and economics from Pomona College. She also studied abroad at University College, Oxford University. Outside of work, Anbinh enjoys hiking, taking care of plants, playing board games, and drinking matcha tea.
