Eurasia Group is an independent corporate political risk analysis and consulting firm with offices in New York, Washington, DC, Tokyo, and London, UK. We are seeking an organized and motivated professional to join our rapidly-growing and dynamic business development team which consults to a wide variety of multinational corporations including those in the consumer & retail, healthcare & pharmaceuticals, information technology, industrial & manufacturing, and financial services sectors.

In this position, you will work with the top leadership at the world's largest and most prominent corporations on some of their most challenging issues. You will be responsible for sole-sourcing new company relationships and consulting engagements, and solutioning and closing complex consulting engagements to the firm's existing clients and new multinationals.

You must demonstrate outstanding competency at early stage sales processes including scaling up cold outreach/cold calling and networking to c-suite decision makers, and possess executive presence in front of CEOs and Boards.

Strategic corporate political risk consulting engagements you will pitch include opportunity and risk assessments, market-entry studies, corporate political strategy, strategic planning support with embedded analytical tools - all of which help clients manage macro-political and sector-specific developments; integrate political risk monitoring and assessments into business decisions.

Accordingly, this position requires that you have extensive experience in driving new business. It is a selling and hunting role, not an account management or farming role. Experience in one or more of the above-mentioned industries is essential.

You will work with all aspects of the Consulting and Analytical platform and be responsible for mobilizing Eurasia Group's regional and sectoral subject matter experts to meet your clients' needs. Given the varying nature of our corporate assignments, you will need to be a quick learner, self-starter, a versatile problem solver and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.

Significant relevant professional experience in selling strategic consulting services is required and strong written and oral communications skills are a given. Applicants are required to have a clear ability to understand, communicate, and sell Eurasia Group's global political risk points-of-view and capabilities to executives in multiple industries. Successful applicants will be comfortable presenting to C-suite executives and must possess strong and current executive relationships.

This position will require frequent travel to client locations.
