Eurasia Group | Ida Wainschel

Chief Information Officer

Ida Wainschel is Eurasia Group's first chief information officer, tasked with defining and executing strategies for products to serve current and future clients, as well as enhancing capabilities in data and analytics. She is also responsible for managing IT operations for infrastructure, software, and information protection/privacy across the firm.
Prior to joining Eurasia Group, Ida worked in the Innovation Center User Experience Labs at Accenture, and spent more than a decade with Dun & Bradstreet working in product management, global data strategy, the Innovation Lab, and most recently leading global product strategy for the Dun & Bradstreet World Wide Network (its global partnership network). Ida earned a master's degree in public administration with a concentration in international economic policy from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, and a bachelor's of science degree in psychology from Davidson College. She has lived in France, Japan, and Australia, and regularly enjoys international travel. She likes to consider herself relatively "cultured," but that's quickly negated by her Starbucks addiction, which travels with her everywhere.
