As a senior analyst in the Financial Institutions practice, Eugenia advises corporations across the global financial sector on key strategic macro and geopolitical issues. She focuses on the intersection of policy, technological and financial innovation, financial stability risks, and climate finance across global markets. Prior to joining Eurasia Group, Eugenia spent several years at Morgan Stanley, where she covered the Latin American financial sector. She also held roles at the International Finance Corporation, the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, where she specialized in global development, environmental, social, and governance issues, and the energy transition in emerging markets. Eugenia graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Columbia University with a bachelor's degree in political science and Latin American Studies. She holds a master's degree in global studies from the University of Oxford. Eugenia grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, and is fluent in Spanish. She is happiest when traveling in the Amazon.
