Doug is focused on delivering client solutions and managing corporate partnerships, leading complex, multidisciplinary consulting-style projects on behalf of clients. The work includes developing analyses, coordinating content development across functions, and presenting final insights to clients. Doug also plays an integral role in the process of business model innovation taking place at egx, leveraging partnerships to bring innovative new products to market to serve client needs better.
Prior to joining Eurasia Group, Doug was a consultant in Germany for Siemens AG, managing complex turnarounds, restructurings, and mergers & acquisitions. Before moving to the private sector, Doug worked in international development in Washington, with projects in Kenya, Uganda, Iraq, and Haiti, and he did internships at the Millennium Challenge Corporation and Overseas Private Investment Corporation. Doug holds a master's degree in international relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a master of business administration from INSEAD with a focus on renewable energy and global sustainability. Doug enjoys traveling and reading and is also an avid golfer and amateur chef—he once tried to pursue both hobbies simultaneously, but that resulted in a six-month ban from the kitchen.
