Senior Consultant

Doug is a senior consultant with Eurasia Group's consulting practice. In that capacity, his work includes developing analyses, coordinating content development across functions, and presenting final insights to clients. Doug is also responsible for managing partnerships core to strengthening Eurasia Group's broader value proposition of contextualizing the business impact of geopolitical developments for clients.

Prior to joining Eurasia Group, Doug was a consultant in Germany for Siemens AG, managing complex turnarounds, restructurings, and mergers & acquisitions. Before moving to the private sector, Doug worked in international development in Washington, with projects in Kenya, Uganda, Iraq, and Haiti. He did internships at the Millennium Challenge Corporation and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. Doug holds a master's degree in international relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a master of business administration from INSEAD with a focus on renewable energy and global sustainability. Doug enjoys traveling and reading and is also an avid golfer and an amateur chef—he once tried to pursue both hobbies simultaneously, but that resulted in a six-month ban from the kitchen.
