Callum Henderson manages the Singapore office of Eurasia Group, targeting institutional investor clients across the Asia Pacific region. His research focuses on political-economy strategy for investors and corporates, and is reflected in Global Strategy publications such as GIS.
Before joining Eurasia Group in April 2016, Callum was the global head of FX Research for Standard Chartered, based in Singapore. He has 20 years of research management and emerging markets experience at Standard Chartered, Bank of America, Citibank and MMS International. He is the author of four books: “Asia Falling,” “China on the Brink,” “Asian Dawn,” and “Currency Strategy: The Practitioner's Guide to Currency Investing, Hedging and Forecasting.”
Callum earned a BA (Honours) in Politics, Economics and French from the University of Sunderland (dissertation: Islamic fundamentalism and the threat to Western security, 1988) and an MA in Middle East politics and economics from the University of Exeter. Outside of work, political Islam and Islamist terrorism has been a particular area of interest for the last three decades.
