Allison works for the Asia team, focused on Chinese economic policymaking. Her research interests include the property sector, local government debt, and bond markets.
Prior to joining Eurasia Group, Allison held internships at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the Albright Stonebridge Group in Washington, DC, as well as at a financial services firm in Beijing. She has a master's degree in Chinese studies from the Yenching Academy of Peking University and a bachelor's degree in Asian studies and history from Northwestern University. While living in Beijing, Allison acquired proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, as well as a deep appreciation for hot pot.
