Leon Levy is a senior analyst in Eurasia Group's Global Macro practice, working directly with the firm's founder and president Ian Bremmer on both regular coverage of global political trends and special projects the firm undertakes. He speaks regularly on behalf of the firm to both clients and the media.
Prior to joining Eurasia Group, Leon worked as a digital media strategist and international press liaison for George Papandreou's To Kinima party in Greece, where he designed the party's digital outreach for Greece's snap parliamentary elections in 2015. He previously worked at Precision Strategies, a communications and strategy consultancy that serves both private corporations and political campaigns. He has also served as an adviser and speechwriter to the Permanent Mission of Greece to the UN. Leon has a bachelor's degree from Columbia University and a master's degree from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. He also holds a bartending license from the Columbia School of Mixology.
