Bruno Reis, who heads Eurasia Group's Brazil office and is an expert in global political risk and the Brazilian market, is focused on building and managing relationships with the firm's in-country clients.   

Bruno was previously managing director of Exclusive Analysis/IHS Brazil, where he was responsible for assisting Brazilian firms with political risk analysis related to their expansion abroad. He was director for Latin America at political risk advisory firm Rispo LLC, as well as a professor at Fundacao Instituto de Administracao. He was also a visiting scholar at Columbia University and at the Emerging Markets Institute at Cornell University. In addition, he is a member and former vice coordinator of Gacint-USP, a leading think tank linked to the University of Sao Paulo. Bruno earned a bachelor's degree in international relations from Pontificia Universidade Catolica de Sao Paulo, a master's degree in international relations from Paris-Sorbonne University, and a dual doctorate from the business schools of the University of Sao Paulo and Grenoble University in France. He speaks English, Portuguese, and French. In his free time, Bruno enjoys surfing off Sao Paulo's north shore and is among one of the 28 million fan(atic)s of the Brazilian soccer club Corinthians.
