Position overview:
Eurasia Group is seeking an experienced and versatile candidate with strong client-facing credentials and familiarity with technology regulatory trends to serve as a Senior Analyst for European technology regulatory issues in our expanding Geo-technology practice. This position will play a key role helping Eurasia Group clients navigate political and regulatory uncertainty in a fast-changing and geopolitically sensitive region at the intersection of technology and regulatory development. In addition to a solid technical background in European politics, at the Brussels level, the ideal candidate will also bring a mix of private sector, technology sector, government policy, and/or international experience to the job. This will involve working closely with other members of the geo-technology practice and other sector, country, and cross-functional Eurasia Group experts.

Qualifications and Other Information:
Our work environment is often fast-paced and very demanding. You must have an entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual rigor, and strong discipline. You will be expected to manage complex research projects on tight deadlines. You must have excellent written and oral presentation skills in English and be comfortable presenting and defending your analysis before senior executives at some of the world’s largest companies.
You must have professional experience that reflects strong skills as an analyst and a communicator. Candidates should have a mix of public sector and private sector experience; a management consulting background or other experience managing complex projects is a plus. Candidates with significant in-country and sectoral experience are preferred, and a relevant advanced degree is required. Strong writing skills and a deep professional network on fintech issues are a must. Professional/research fluency in at least one language relevant to areas covered by the Geo-technology Practice is a plus but not a requirement, as is proficiency with PowerPoint.
Applicants will be considered for the firm’s Washington DC and London offices, and all applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and United Kingdom.
