Iku Fujimatsu
Director of Research
Iku Fujimatsu is a director of research at Eurasia Group. She is responsible for organizing and supervising the work of the research platform, project development, and project management. Iku holds a master's degree in Asian studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University, with a focus on US-Asia relations and Northeast Asian security issues. She received her bachelor's degree from Tufts University with a double major in international relations and Asian studies.
Prior to joining the Eurasia Group, Iku was the assistant project director for the Northeast Asia projects at the National Committee on American Foreign Policy. She was previously an editorial and program assistant at the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation in Washington, DC. Iku has lived and worked in Japan.
